Welcome to YTBrain (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. This Privacy Policy governs our data practices when you visit our website at https://ytbrain.com and use our suite of YouTube analytics, SEO keyword research tools, and Google OAuth integrations.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information to provide better services to our users, including:

• Account Information: Name, email address, password hash, and profile picture when you register an account.
• Google & YouTube User Data: When you connect your Google/YouTube account via Google OAuth 2.0, we collect your channel ID, channel title, subscriber count, public video statistics, and OAuth access tokens required to perform channel audits.
• Usage Data: Search queries entered into our Niche & Keyword Explorer, feature interactions, and diagnostic log telemetry.

4. AI Script Analysis, Generation & Central AI Gateway Disclosures

When you use YTBrain AI features—including ytbrain_script_analysis, ytbrain_script_generation, title optimizers, and ChatGPT MCP tools—your text prompts, video topics, and script drafts are processed through YTBrain's Central AI Gateway. We maintain the highest data protection and transparency standards regarding external AI processors:

• External AI Providers & Endpoints: User text is routed via secure, encrypted TLS connections to our vetted commercial AI model providers: OpenAI (OpenAI API at api.openai.com) and Google (Google Generative AI / Gemini API via generativelanguage.googleapis.com under commercial paid-tier API terms, with optional routing via Google Cloud Vertex AI).
• No Model Training Guarantee: All external AI processing is conducted exclusively under paid commercial API terms. In accordance with the official Google Generative AI Paid Services Terms and OpenAI Commercial Terms, your customer data (including text prompts, video topics, and script drafts) is strictly NOT used to train, retrain, or improve Google, OpenAI, or third-party AI models.
• Data Retention: Text submitted for script generation or analysis is processed ephemerally in-flight to deliver your output. External AI providers retain transient operational logs for a maximum of 30 days strictly for trust, safety, and abuse prevention, after which they are permanently deleted. In-app saved script drafts are retained in your encrypted workspace only for as long as you maintain them.
• Data Deletion Rights: You can permanently delete any generated script, analysis report, or history directly from your YTBrain dashboard at any time. To request full erasure of all your data and account history, you can submit a deletion request via Settings or email [email protected]. Upon request, all data is permanently expunged across all production systems within 30 days.

5. Data Storage & Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data. OAuth tokens are encrypted using AES-256 at rest, and all communication between your browser and YTBrain servers is encrypted via TLS/SSL (HTTPS).

6. Data Retention & Revocation

We retain user data only for as long as necessary to fulfill your requested services. You may revoke YTBrain's access to your Google account at any time through the Google Security Permissions Page. Alternatively, you can delete your connected channel from your YTBrain account settings.

7. Third-Party Services

YTBrain relies on Google APIs to provide core features. By using YTBrain, users agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
